That Studio began as an extension of my main business, Niki Design. When I opened an office at Palm Centre in Melkbosstrand, I wanted to attract more visitors and clients. To create a welcoming space, I started designing and crafting my own unique products, alongside carefully sourced pieces to display and sell. Over time, my office naturally evolved into a charming gift store.

As I gained regular customers, this venture intertwined with my design business, bringing new work opportunities and valuable connections. Exploring local markets in the area expanded my reach even further, allowing me to share my handmade creations with a wider audience.

After running my shop for five wonderful years, I decided to shift my focus. I closed the physical store, transitioned to working from home, and officially separated Niki Design and That Studio into two distinct businesses. Selling online provided a fantastic outlet during the pandemic, but today, my focus is on market trading and growing Niki Design.

That Studio remains my creative playground—a space where I design, craft, and share my handmade pieces with those who appreciate unique, heartfelt creations.
